For our Client, global industrial group, which operates in several countries worldwide, we are looking for experienced Candidate to take the position of Global Category Manager for metal raw materials
Location: Poznań
Scope of responsibilities:
- Working as a part of a global procurement team with significant exposure across the business
- Leading category of metal raw materials
- Negotiating and closing contracts on selected commodities (mainly stainless steel and brass parts and fasteners)
- Managing preferred suppliers in accordance with business needs
- Identifying, selecting and on-boarding new suppliers
- Implementing category strategies and identifying saving opportunities
- Establishing alignment and effective communication among procurement, organization, business partners and suppliers
- Conducting risk assessment of supply
- Degree preferably in Commercial, Procurement or Logistic
- Min. 5 years within Procurement
- Experience in working with the category of raw material and engineering/technical parts. Preferably metal products.
- Strong global market knowledge and technical understanding
- Fluency in English - C1
- High degree of personal integrity and confidence
- Excellent business communication skills
- Effective negotiations skills
