Your daily responsibilities:
- Support/preparation of annual financial statements according to HGB and group accounting according to USGAAP
- Payment transactions
- Responsibility of GL accounts / bank accounts
- Asset accounting management
- Creation of evaluations and statistics
- Participation in the annual inventory
- Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
- Reporting and reporting to finance and management
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and USGAAP- wages
, formation of provisions
, receivables/ liabilities/ accruals
, opening and closing various sub-bookings
- Execution of document postings
- Creation of new accounts and cost centres
- Being a contact person for auditors, internal audit and tax consultants in the area of --responsibility
- Creation and maintenance of customer and supplier master data
- Accompanying the annual audit according to HGB/USGAAP
- Experience in supporting external tax audits
- General ledger/sub ledger reconciliation
- University degree
- Minimum 3 year of experience in Accounting
- Advanced level of German (native speakers are welcomed)
- Very good knowledge of English (at least B2 level)
- Knowledge of MS Office and ERP system (such as Oracle or SAP)
- Knowledge of USGAAP,IFRS and HGB standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Good communication as well problem solving skills
